Matt Christie has been hooked on boxing since he picked up a copy of <em>A Pictorial History of Boxing</em> in 1985 as a seven-year-old. He worked as producer of KOTV from 2006 until he joined <em>Boxing News</em> in 2010. He has been honoured by the Sports Journalists’ Association and the Boxing Writers Association of America. In 2017 he won the Sam Kellerman Media Award in New York and The Reg Gutteridge Annual Award in London two years later. He has also written about boxing for <em>The Guardian</em> and the <em>Daily Mirror</em> and has been used by the BBC, Sky Sports, BT Sport, HBO Boxing and Talk Sport as a boxing analyst. He has been the editor of <em>Boxing News</em> since 2015.
