AS if it wasn’t bad enough losing your world heavyweight title, after being outscored by Tyson Fury in Dusseldorf Wladimir Klitschko also had to endure the stern verdict of his older brother, former WBC champion and now mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko.

“My brother shocked me because I know how good Wladimir is. Wladimir didn’t show in his performance tonight,” Vitali said.

“I know what Wladimir is capable of. I’ve seen him a lot of times. I know his strength but I couldn’t see anything of that tonight in the ring. Maybe it was a bad day, maybe there were other reasons. We’re going to find out. But I’m quite sure Wladimir is going to take the rematch – the chance to prove the world who the real Wladimir Klitschko is.”
