THAI super-flyweight superstar Srisaket Sor Rungvisai has weighed in to defend his WBC title in a rematch with Juan Francisco Estrada tonight (April 26) in Los Angeles.

Rungvisai weighed 114.2lbs, Mexico’s Estrada was 114.6lbs. “I feel great. I feel confident. This is my fourth time fighting in the United States and I hope you all come to watch the show,” Rungvisai said.

Estrada declared, “I am so happy to be here fighting in Los Angeles again. I am actually able to be 100% for this fight. Last time I was dealing with injuries but now I am healthy. My trainers did a great job getting me ready for the rematch and I feel ready to win this time.”

On the same bill TJ Doheny and Daniel Roman are fighting to unify the IBF and WBA super-bantamweight titles. “My prediction? Fireworks!” said Doheny. “It’s not my style to predict too much, but the fans can expect a great fight. I know Danny is going to bring it and you better believe that I am more than ready for anything he brings.

“We’re the top two guys in the division. He wants to unify, I want to unify, it’s what all the top champions should want to do. I keep saying – you win the world title and it’s a dream come true, but then you have got to raise the bar. Fair play to Danny for taking the unification on, it’s what the fans want, it’s what we both want, and it’s great for boxing. You want to unify the division and cement your name at the top.”

Doheny weighed in at 121.8lbs, Roman was 121.2lbs.

On the same bill Jessie Vargas will box Humberto Soto. Both scaled 150.4lbs.

“I am happy to be back in the ring. Soto is a two-division world champion, too. He is a veteran. We are two Mexican warriors and we are going to go to war on Friday night on DAZN. Shout out to Soto for springing the upset against Brandon Rios to make this fight happen and I can’t wait,” Vargas said. “I need to take care of business against Soto. I have trained properly but nothing is certain. I want to get a title in my third weight division. I left Vegas for camp for the first time in my career to train in Los Angeles. I had a great training camp with my amazing trainer Freddie Roach and I am ready for Friday night.”
