Josh Warrington I think has proven that he’s the best, with the Carl Frampton fight as well, at the moment I don’t think any of the others are better. Gary Russell’s a talented fighter, he might beat Warrington but Warrington is probably the best fighter at the moment on achievement.

I would say Gary Russell Jnr, the American southpaw. His only defeat was to Vasiliy Lomachenko and is established at that weight. A future prospect though is Jazza Dickens for sure.

Josh Warrington. Ranking fighters according to my own system is about in-ring achievement, with a major factor in assessing that achievement being how recent it was and Warrington’s wins over Selby, Frampton and Galahad give him the best recent resume of any current featherweight.

Technically I think Gary Russell or Kid Galahad are the best. Josh Warrington has a strong CV but Russell I feel is the man you have to beat to claim the number one spot at featherweight.
