It’s really interesting. When you see the level Pacquiao’s boxed at for so long, it’s phenomenal really. Would it be a passing of the torch? To be honest, I’d still back Pacquiao to win that, I think it could be a mistake for Garcia’s people. I liked what I saw of Garcia against Luke Campbell, but whether he’s ready for Pacquiao I’m not convinced.

I believe it’s a good idea only for one person and that’s Manny Pacquiao, Ryan Garcia is not ready for the elite fighters just yet, he needs another two years to improve.

Pacquiao vs Garcia is a very intriguing fight. I hope they use VADA testing to avoid the slurs on Pacquiao. Pacquiao is a known brand so probably the best payday but a dangerous puncher none the less. The old saying ”the last thing to go is a fighter’s punch” could haunt Garcia who was heavily knocked down by Luke Campbell.

I can’t work out what the caveat is here. Garcia is a lightweight, Manny Pacquiao beat up a big welterweight Keith Thurman in his last fight. I really don’t think this is a good idea for a 22-year-old 135lber. If Garcia wins it’s colossal but that’s a big if.
