LLOYD HONEYGHAN, the architect of one of Britain’s most famous underdog victories when he beat Don Curry for the WBC, WBA and IBF welterweight titles, gave Boxing News his take on Gennady Golovkin vs Kell Brook.

“Kell Brook has got very good movement but the fighter he’s going to fight now has got very good punching power. So it’s a puncher against a mover. Make him miss and make him pay,” Lloyd said.

Does that mean he gives Brook a chance? “Anything is possible. I’m sure Kell Brook can make the impossible possible. A lot of people think it’s impossible but I’m speaking from experience and I’m sure Kell Brook’s going to make the impossible possible,” Honeyghan suggested.

Not that Lloyd is going to bet the house on it. “If I was betting man? It’s like this, I don’t take chances with money that I can’t afford to lose,” he laughed.
