IT’S the final day of Olympic boxing at Riocentro. Britain’s big man Joe Joyce is fighting for super-heavyweight gold after overpowering Kazakstan’s Ivan Dychko in the semi-final. Joe goes in with France’s Tony Yoka, a rivalry that has seen them share one win a piece. This decisive contest couldn’t be on a bigger stage, the Olympic super-heavyweight final.

Three finals precede Yoka versus Joyce. American middleweight Claressa Shields boxes to defend her Olympic crown from the Netherlands’ Nouchka Fontijn.

At flyweight Russia’s Misha Aloian boxes Uzbekistan’s Shakhobidin Zoirov for the 52kgs gold medal. The light-welter final pits Uzbekistan’s Fazliddin Gaibnazarov against Azerbaijan’s Lorenzo Sotomayor Collazo before Joyce-Yoka for super-heavyweight glory.
