JOSH KELLY has teamed up with a new broadcaster.

June 24 is the date for the British super-welterweight champion’s next fight which will be shown live on DAZN.

The 29-year-old takes on unbeaten Argentinian Gabriel Corzo 18-0 (3) at the Vertu Motors Arena in Newcastle.

Boxing News understands that Kelly 13-1-1 (7) will be fighting on the streaming service for the foreseeable future as he hopes to make an impact on the world scene at 154lbs.

A 16-month absence from the ring saw Kelly return in June 2022 with a fourth-round stoppage win against Peter Kramer. The victory was shown on Channel 5 marking the UK terrestrial television debut of ‘Pretty Boy’. Viewers watched him be victorious on two more occasions last year against Lucas Brian Ariel Bastida and in his British title win against Troy Williamson.

Kelly’s promoter Wasserman will continue to work with the free-to-air channel in 2023 having already broadcast two shows in March. Their deal runs until the end of the year with four more events still to come as part of the current agreement. Wasserman hope to renew with them for 2024.

DAZN have already teamed up with Kalle Sauerland, Wasserman’s Global Head of Boxing, to broadcast the promoter’s Misfit Boxing shows.

Nathan Gorman, Chloe Smith, Steve Robinson and others will feature on Kelly’s undercard.
