ACCORDING to reports Manny Pacquiao will fight Australia’s Jeff Horn. Speaking to ESPN Bob Arum, Pacquiao’s promoter said the fight had been agreed. It is likely for April 22.

Horn’s representatives have agreed terms with Arum, who will now finalise matters on Pacquiao’s side. “But he is going to fight Jeff Horn,” the promoter said. “We’ll know the location of the fight in the next few days.”

This is thought to be the start of a series of international events for Manny Pacquiao. The fight is expected to land in Australia. Betway’s Alan Alger said, “Manny Pacquiao v Jeff Horn is 1/2 to take place Down Under, as the Aussie’s promoters press hard to make Brisbane the confirmed venue.

“Nothing is set in stone, though, and the traders have priced up the US at 5/1 to host the welterweight title fight, whilst the Middle East is quietly fancied at 8/1 to get the gig.”
