“EVERYTHING recycles around.

“You win some, you lose some, you go through a cycle with generations.

“It’s just like USA in Olympics. Back in the day it used to be straight gold, all gold, everybody gold. Now it’s to the point where other countries have been the main powerhouse and coming out with the golds. It’s a big cycle, everybody gets their turn.

“We had all the greats like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson, all those guys. The new generation coming up: it’s a build up, boxing’s one of the most difficult sports in the world, this is something that takes time to build. Physically as a fighter, you can’t just get a guy out of high school or college to box, it don’t work like other sports, boxing is the most difficult sport in the world it takes time for this. Everybody has their due time and their due season.

“That’s how I feel about it.”
