CALEB TRUAX v James DeGale is a rematch of their December 2017 encounter which Truax won on points in a huge upset. The return is set for tonight, with the IBF super-middleweight title again on the line in this 12-rounder which takes place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

AT the weigh-in, DeGale scaled 167 1/4lbs – 3/4lb less than his weight four months ago – while Truax came in 3/4lb heavier than December, at 167 3/4lbs. WATCH WEIGH-IN HERE

IN the UK, you can watch a live stream on BoxNation (Sky channel 437, HD 490; Virgin 548; BT/Talk Talk 415; Freeview 288), and the coverage begins at 3am.

ACCORDING to Sky Bet, DeGale is a 2/9 favourite, Truax is 3/1 and the draw is priced at 25/1.

CALEB TRUAX: “I thought I did the job pretty well last time and beat him pretty convincingly. From what I see I’m a 6-to-1 underdog, so there are a lot of people who are going to make some money on me. There are some things that I could have done better, and there are things that he could have done better. So I’ll be prepared for those things and adapt to whatever he throws at me.”

JAMES DeGALE: “I don’t know why [I’m favoured]. The boxing people know that I’m above Truax. He did the job, so you’ve got to give the man the credit. But I believe I’m so much better than him and on Saturday night I have a chance to get back my title and show the world that I’m back. My career is in the balance right now. If I lose, where do I go? For the past two and a half years I was the world champion and I fought the best and I got the results. Then I lost to a guy that is not on my level. I’m so honest to myself and I’m very real, and if I can’t deal with Truax in a good way, then we’ll have to see.”

IN the USA, the coverage will be broadcast by Showtime, and begins at 10pm ET/7pm PT.

THE referee is Robert Byrd, and the judges are Robert Hoyle, John McKaie and DonTrella. All four officials, like Truax, are American.

ALSO on the bill is the WBA and IBF super-welterweight unification clash between Erislandy Lara and Jarrett Hurd.
