Terry Dooley

Terry Dooley got into writing by accident in 2004. He saw sites publishing articles, realised he could write just as badly, but twice as fast, and began contributing. He got a break in 2006 after going to The Phoenix to interview Billy Graham. The two got along and he was Graham’s in-house writer until his retirement in 2008. Terry then worked with Joe Gallagher and Kerry Kayes in the early days of Gallagher’s Gym before hitting the newsbeat, where he broke the story of Carl Froch’s rematch against George Groves. After deciding to stick solely to features he did a few years with Boxing Monthly before joining Boxing News in 2016.
