Elliot Worsell was 17 years old when Boxing News published his first feature in 2004. He then joined the team as senior writer in 2017. During that 13-year period he worked as a press officer for two world heavyweight champions, as well as a publicist for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and wrote a couple of non-fiction books, Making Haye and Dog Rounds, the latter shortlisted in the General Outstanding Sports Writing category at the 2018 British Sports Book Awards. His writing has also appeared in GQ, ShortList and UFC Magazine, and the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) awarded him second place in the Best Column category in 2019.
