Wladimir Klitschko has been given the green light to fight Tyson Fury on November 28 at the ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.

The pair were originally set to meet for Klitschko’s WBO, IBF and WBA Super titles on October 24, but the champion picked up a minor calf injury, causing the fight to be postponed.

After seeking the advice of Dr Hans-Wilhelm Muller, Klitschko has been given the all clear to box on November 28.

“He has the green light. He can resume training in a few weeks and everything should be fine,” Klitschko’s manager, Bernd Boente told Boxing News.

“November 28 is definitely the date we want to go ahead with at the same stadium, we have only seven or eight thousand tickets left to sell. We’re in discussions to have everything sorted, but it all looks good.”
