WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO is odds-on at 4/5 with Betway to retire from boxing after his world heavyweight title fight with Anthony Joshua.

The 41-year-old goes toe-to-toe with his former sparring partner at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night and the leading online bookmaker believes it could be his last.

The former world champion is 3/1 to overdo his ‘jab and grab’ tactics and be docked points for excessive holding, while Joshua is 8/1.

You can also back the Brit to knock Klitschko out inside 60 seconds at 50/1 – Betway’s biggest liability.

Punters to wager £100 million, with record bets taken on round betting

Round betting has been extremely popular this week, with Betway reporting a record level of bets on tomorrow night’s showdown.

Across the industry betting on the bout could topple a reported £100 million worldwide.

Betway’s Alan Alger, said: “Saturday promises to be one of the biggest nights in British boxing history and a monster amount of money will be exchanged between punters and bookies on the night. Anthony Joshua has proved very popular at 4/9, whilst we’ve never seen so much money placed on round-by-round betting.

“Wladimir Klitschko isn’t getting any younger and we think this could be his time to bow out at 4/5. With the Ukrainian in the ring we’re likely to see a few clinches and offer 3/1 for him to be docked points.”
