DERECK CHISORA looked in uncharacteristically good shape as he hit the scales Friday for his grudge rematch with Dillian Whyte.

Chisora has linked up with old foe David Haye, who is now his manager and introduced Chisora to a new strength and conditioning regime. Chisora at 17st 8lbs 3oz weighed his lightest in over two years.

But Whyte, who has been training diligently with Mark Tibbs and going to Loughborough University for strength and conditioning, also looked big and strong as he scaled 17st 8lbs 8oz.

Their first fight, back in 2016, was an unbridled slugfest and Saturday’s clash at the O2 could repeat the the same levels of excitement.

Whyte glared at Chisora as the two went head to head and Dereck ominously removed his sunglasses, creeping closer as if he were already itching for a fight. Both are big men, both are dangerous and both looked on edge. Nervy security guards moved between them and even though they directed both fighters away, back stage the rival camps had to be contained as a scuffle broke out, hoarding was knocked over and the teams had to be kept apart.
