BILLY JOE SAUNDERS is being backed at just 3/1 with Betway to get in the ring with the unbeaten Gennady Golovkin next after he withdrew from his fight with Martin Murray due to injury.

A rescheduled match with Murray still heads the market at 6/4, with an all-English bout with Chris Eubank Jnr at 10/1, while fights with Kell Brook and George Groves look unlikely at 20/1 and 33/1 respectively.

Saul Alvarez, AKA Canelo, is the other puncher in the mix with the leading online bookmaker at 8/1.

Betway’s Alan Alger said: “Billy Joe Saunders has once again had to withdraw from his fight with Martin Murray and we think a fight with Gennady Golovkin could be next on the agenda.

“Both fighters are yet to taste defeat and we go 3/1 for the two to step into the ring in Saunders next fight.

“It’s 6/4 for Saunders and Murray to finally square off, while he’s 10/1 to face Chris Eubank Jnr.”
