Former world title challenger Bryan Vasquez (No 8) keeps busy with a routine win over unheralded Angel Granados. Vasquez floored Granados three times in the second of a scheduled 10 before the first was rightfully stopped at 2-23 of the round.

Light-flyweight

Ganigan Lopez, fresh off his upset win over Yu Kimura earlier this year, turns in a dominant display against Jonathan Taconing to retain his WBC world title on the cards. Taconing was hardly in the fight and Lopez remains second in the rankings for his win over the unranked challenger.

No 10 Jesse Espinas notches a second round knockout win over unknown Silem Serang in Thailand, thus keeping his position in the rankings.

Strawweight

Unbeaten Thai Knockout CP Freshmart topples division leader and WBA ruler Byron Rojas on a close 12-round decision. Freshmart was previously ranked seventh but moves straight into the top spot, requiring all those previously above him to move down a space.

IBF champion Jose Argumedo (No 5) kept hold of his title with a clear decision win over unranked Julio Mendoza.
