WBC middleweight king Miguel Cotto and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez completed their exhausting four-city press tour to promote their colossal November 21 clash in Las Vegas on Friday (August 28) in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

The tour saw them take in Los Angeles on Monday (August 24), before the next day heading south of the border to ‘Canelo’s homeland of Mexico (Mexico City), then right up the length of America to New York City on Wednesday (August 26) before finishing in Cotto’s native Puerto Rico yesterday.

The Golden Boy and Roc Nation Sports-promoted battle sees boxing’s two biggest stars, outside of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, face each other in arguably the most anticipated fight for many years.

After the tepid Mayweather-Pacquiao affair in May this clash has come at exactly the right time. And with the combatants representing two of boxing’s most revered nations, it can’t fail to ignite.
