Gennady Golovkin vs Canelo Alvarez betting odds

Gennady Golovkin is odds-on at 4/6 with Betway to defeat Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in their long awaited rematch in Las Vegas this Saturday.

The man from Kazakhstan scored his first ever draw in professional boxing when he fought Canelo to a stalemate last September, but the leading online bookmaker make GGG a short favourite for the much-anticipated rematch.

Alvarez to be knocked down in rounds one to three at 9/1 is just one of a host of #betyourway markets on offer ahead of Saturday’s battle at the T-Mobile Arena.

Betway’s Alan Alger said: “Last year’s draw between GGG and Canelo had the boxing purists eager for the rematch, and they won’t need to wait much longer as the two prepare to face off on Saturday.

“There’s little to separate both men again, but with Golovkin’s explosive punching power and undefeated record, we make him the 4/6 favourite to get one over on Canelo at the second time of asking.

“The Mexican is 5/4 to inflict a first ever defeat on GGG, while a repeat of last September’s draw is a long shot at 18/1.

“With so much anticipation around the rematch, we’ve got a load of #betyourway markets on site as we continue to give customers free rein on how and what they want to bet on.”
