NOUREDDINE MEDDOUN is something of a rarity: a British-based fighter who met Kevin Johnson when the latter still had evident ambition. The dubious distinction of being stopped by the American “Kingpin” aside, this Swindon-based Moroccan has won four of his remaining five fights, all inside the distance. The 32-year-old Goodwin Boxing fighter is clearly a dangerous man at a certain level but he would very much like to find out what level that is. He has been on a hiatus since Johnson halted him in Prizefighter tournament almost four years ago – Johnson had only lost to Vitali Klitschko back then – and now wants to fight some British heavyweight talent, including Gary Cornish and Ian Lewison, as he explains below.
