EDDIE HEARN talks Barry McGuigan in this week’s special Scott Quigg v Carl Frampton issue of Boxing News magazine. This is out now on our app and the print version is in stores on Thursday (February 25). Here is an excerpt.
THE first time I saw Barry McGuigan box live was when my hero, Jim McDonnell, beat him [in 1989]. So, I have no problem talking to him, but I could not negotiate with a man who lets emotion get in the way of making correct business decisions.
