CHRIS EUBANK JNR put on a hard-hitting display today at the media work-out in London’s famous Peacock Gym to show that he’s ready to take the Interim WBA World Middleweight title from champion Dmitry Chudinov.

The Brighton star makes his big return to the ring this Saturday (28th February) at The O2 and aims to put his close split decision points loss to arch-rival Billy Joe Saunders last November behind him and focus on Chudinov’s world title.

Eubank Jnr., who is in fantastic shape without an ounce of fat on him, went through a power-packed session with his trainer and watching closely was his father and British great Chris Snr. on hand ready to give advice.

He said, “I just can’t wait for Saturday night now and get back in the ring where I belong.  I’m destined to become a world champion and while my route has taken a small knock along the way I’m back on track and ready to prove that I’m the real thing by beating Chudinov and prove that I belong with the best.”

Also working out today was Chudinov who arrived in London with his team this morning and headed straight for the Peacock Gym and is excited to be in the capital for his title defence.

The Russian ace says he’s in the best shape of his life and is going to inflict the second loss in a row to Eubank Jnr’s record .

“I wouldn’t be here in London if I didn’t think I could beat Eubank Jnr.” Said Chudinov.

“Eubank Jnr. is a good fighter, but I’m better, much better.  He thinks that I’m a stepping block for him to collect the title along the way so he can go on an face other world champions, but he has made a very big mistake against me,”

“He has been beaten, now he’s vulnerable, he’ll be unsure of himself getting back in the ring.  The aura of invincibility around him has gone and he’s now just an ordinary fighter.”
