David Haye fight time v Mark de Mori, plus date and venue
The main event – David Haye (Bermondsey) v Mark de Mori (Perth, Australia) – at the O2 Arena in North Greenwich, London – is provisionally set to kick off on Saturday, January 16 at around 9.45pm.
10 of three minutes each.
Show coverage begins at 9pm on Dave in the UK. Dave can be found on Freeview channel 12, Sky 111, Virgin 128, Virgin Ireland 122 and WightFibre 69. Highlights of the undercard fights will be shown after the main event. There is a preview show, also on Dave, at 8pm on Friday (January 15).
After the best fight on Goodwin Boxing’s undercard – the scheduled English welterweight title eliminator between Shepherd’s Bush southpaw John O’Donnell and Colne’s Shayne Singleton – fell through at three days’ notice – Tony Dodson must be classed as chief support. The 35-year-old ex-British super-middle ruler has his first bout in almost eight months. Dodson has fought sporadically in recent years and gets Harlow’s Richard Horton who has lost his last three, two of which ended inside the distance. Exciting light-heavy Wadi Camacho is on the bill and always worth a watch, while 6-0 super-lightweight power-puncher Kay Prospere could make a statement on the big stage.
