RINGSIDE GYM in Elm Park will be hosting a six-hour ‘sparathon’ on Saturday (June 13) in order to raise money for Saint Francis Hospice in Hornchurch.

Experienced trainer Reg Davies, who runs Ringside Gym along with Billy Hollyfield, is looking forward to helping a worthy cause. “It’s going to be a really fun day and we’re hoping people will come along and help us to raise as much money as we can for the hospice,” Davies said.

Among the 40-plus members of the gym taking part on the day will be Dagenham’s unbeaten cruiserweight Robin Dupre, as well as Reg’s son, Chris Davies, who is set to turn pro this year.

Everyone is welcome at the event, which begins at 9:00am at the gym on Kings Estate, at the rear of 1 Broadway Parade, Elm Park Avenue.
