The best punishment for David Haye can be handed out by Vitali Klitscko- by refusing to fight him. I have never known a sportsman to lose so much respect and popularity as Haye has recently - first with his dismal performance against Wladimir and ''toe-gate'' and now by throwing the first punch in the brawl with Chisora. If he does fight Klitschko I hope he is not counting on the support of the majority of the British public.

sorry but the buck stops with promoters.if they did not want haye in there he would not have been there.also why did mr warren let his man leave the press table without even a word, tell you why because mr warren will make money when they get it on.the promoters should be ashamed for letting it go as far as it did.then again whats all the fuss about, remember hide/bent and tyson/lewis.forget the robot brothers bring on the battle of britain

I was completely amazed and shocked at the antics the 2 british boxers displayed in Germany. It was such disgraceful behaviour and has dammaged british boxing immensely. First the slap at the weigh in by Chisora was a cheap shot and no excuse can be made for such contempt.
Second the spitting was a way of showing disrespect to the Klitschko brothers, who conducted themselves impeccably throughtout.
The aftermath at the press conference showed Haye and Chisoras total lack of respect for boxing and dragged it in the gutter.
This has to de dealt by the BBB of C with serious consequences. This must not happen again for the sake of our sport.

I thought the Haye-Chisora brawl was an absolute disgrace and both fighters should be made an example of. Id ban them for life, there''s no place for that behaviour, never mind in boxing circles but life in general. we live in a society where kids are shooting and knifing one and other and some look up to these fighters, what message does it send out? theyr an embarrassment to our sport yet no doubt because of the hype in Boxing theyl end up fighting each other some time soon.

While it was a disgraceful episode, people shouldn''t over react about Chisora/Haye, it''s not like it hasn''t happened before: Hide/Bent, Christie/Kaylor, Lewis/Tyson, Frasier/Ali to name a few. At least it''s added some spice to a less than entertaining heavyweight division that has been ruined by the boring, boring Klitschkos.

Derek Chisora acted disgracefully outside the ring but performed admirably in it which is more than can be said of David Haye''s efforts against Wladimir Klitschko. Haye had his chance and blew it. Chisora was wrong to react to Haye''s provocations like he did but why can''t Haye retire gracefully, or alternatively arrange a fight without all the mundane trash talk build up. I thought he may have learned his lesson. The Klitschkos again come out of it all as the real men here and are true credits to boxing.

It may only be a side issue to all the chaos caused by Chisora,Haye etc, but Paul Smith has to be commended for his work as co-commentator on BoxNation.
If the BBC have anything about them, they should make contact and hire him for tv or radio work on the Olympics.

david haye should be banned for life from boxing, anything less would be sending out the wrong message- there is a photo that clearly shows him hitting chisora with a bottle in his hand- this arrogant man needs to be out of boxing for good- he is spoiling it for everyone .

Good day
I am trying to find any information on my father who boxed from 1953 to 1960 his name is Johnny Bambrough he boxed for West Hartlepool and was born on 13/3/33 I do know they had his birthday as 13/3/34 which was wrong. One of his fights was against John Bacon in 1960?
I would love to know more about his boxing days, if you could supply any information or back dated copies I would be very willing to pay for this?
Many thanks in advance
