FORMER world title challengers Eric Molina and Johann Duhaupas were both victorious in assignments away from home on Saturday (April 2). Mexican-American Eric Molina travelled to the Tauron Arena in Krakow, Poland and knocked out former Vital Klitschko foe Tomasz Adamek in 10 rounds to win the IBF Inter-Continental heavyweight strap.

Johann Duhaupas was in the Hartwell Arena in Helsinki, Finland. He knocked former European champion Robert Helenius down in the fourth and sixth rounds, knocking out Helenius in the sixth round.

These results mean Deontay Wilder has had a good weekend without throwing a punch. Last year Wilder defended his WBC heavyweight title against both Molina and Duhaupas, results which look better for him now.
