THERE have been few battles more thrilling than Jorge Linares’ brawl with Kevin Mitchell for the former’s WBC lightweight title at the O2 on May 30. Mitchell dropped the Venezuelan but Linares put him under extreme pressure. With a massive swelling over his eye, Kevin fought back with the utmost bravery but Linares put him down and halted him in 10 rounds. This was the fight of the year for 41% of our readers.
