THE signs are good that the Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko world heavyweight title fight could take place. But Betway expect it to happen next year, rather than in 2016.

Betway’s Alan Alger said: “Eddie Hearn has been teasing boxing fans with Joshua-Klitschko ever since Tyson Fury pulled out of his rematch. It’s no surprise to see Britain’s boxing golden boy heavily rumoured to step in the ring with the Ukrainian, but the betting suggests 2016 may be too soon.

“That’s not to say the fight isn’t on the cards. In fact, at 4/6, we’re pretty sure Joshua v Klitschko will go ahead in 2017.”
