Andy Lee will defend his WBO world middleweight title against Billy Joe Saunders on December 19 at the Manchester Arena after the fight twice being postponed.
The pair were originally scheduled to meet on September 19 at Thomond Park Stadium in Limerick but after the champion picked up a virus the bout was moved to October 10.
Billy Joe Saunders picked up a cut in sparring, meaning the contest was postponed again but both men are looking forward to finally facing each other.
“The fight has to happen and we’re both eager for it. We’ve been on and off in camp and you have to time it right. We’ve been working hard and we’ll be ready for December 19,” Lee said.
“It suits me perfect, it’s perfect for me. Everybody wants to see this fight,” Saunders said.
