Amir Khan next fight coming to pay-per-view

BT Sport Box Office will screen Amir Khan’s next fight in the UK. The Briton will challenge Terence Crawford for the WBO welterweight at Madison Square Garden in New York on April 20.

It will be pay-per-view in the USA as well, where the fight is launching ESPN’s new PPV offering.

“[Crawford] is the best welterweight,” promoter Bob Arum previously told Boxing News. “Amir wants to prove how great he is and what kind of ability he has and he’s getting paid very well and he knows as a fighter that even if he doesn’t beat Crawford, he’s going to put up a hell of a fight, get tremendous publicity and he’s going to make a Kell Brook fight down the road a lot more valuable.”
