MEMORABILIA is still coming in from all over the world. From ex-WBO super-welterweight title challenger Brandon Cook in Canada, a t-shirt and two pairs of mini gloves. From Croydon’s WBC flyweight champion Charlie Edwards, two signed posters. From former top super-middleweight Brian Magee [pictured] in Northern Ireland, a pair of 16oz gloves and a nice hoody. From super-flyweight contender Andrew Moloney in Australia, a signed glove. From former WBA lightweight titlist Ray Mancini in America, a signed photo. All items will be going into the Ringside Rest & Care auction.

Congratulations to West Hill ABC for their performance at the England Boxing National Schools Championships. Three boxers competed, with Ben Moore coming out a winner. The boxers had the RR&C logo on their kit, while coach/cornerman Joe Lee wore one of our t-shirts. Many thanks to everyone who has been buying RR&C merchandise. We’ve had a fantastic response, and a special mention must go to Michael Thomas, who donates every week. Our marathon man, Ian Cawley, finished the Liverpool Marathon on Sunday (May 26) – his second marathon for RR&C. His final time was three hours and 40 minutes, which was fanastic. Meanwhile, our intrepid sky divers – Andrew Fairley and his team of boxers – are jumping this weekend at Salisbury Plain. We wish them well in their amazing effort!
